Boothbay Region Community Center

We opened The Community Center on August 29th, 2015. Since then, it has become a valued community resource run by volunteers. We offer free tea and coffee, snacks, WiFi and a warm welcome to visitors of all ages. We also offer weekly classes, all free, and all taught by volunteers. The Community Center won the Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce “Community Improvement Award” in 2016 and 2017, the "Community Service" award in 2017 and the "Community Service and Improvement" award in 2018.

The Community Center is a valued community resource saving lives and changing lives every day. In addition to space for conversation, games, exercise and meetings, our programs include free durable medical equipment, volunteer transportation for those who cannot drive, emergency reflective house signs, enrichment trips for groups and guest speakers with topics of interest.
