Volunteer: 2026 Earth Day Beach Cleanup

Maine Conservation Alliance is partnering with Blue Ocean Society for Marine Conservation—one of New England's leading marine debris and conservation organizations—to celebrate Earth Day with a beach cleanup at Old Orchard Beach!

The morning will also include: a fun raffle, a talk about plovers with a naturalist from the Maine Audubon, and the first 50 participants to arrive will receive a FREE “Earth Day” bandana! All are welcome.

You can park for free at the Milliken Street Parking Lot. Then walk about 0.5 miles south down the beach to meet in front of Palace Playland. Please check in between 9:45 and 10:00 AM.

Bring gloves and a water bottle! Snacks and drinks will be provided.
