Bereavement Service Support:
• Provide empathetic emotional support to bereaved individuals and families through phone calls, written correspondence, facilitating groups or in-person visits, as assigned.
Patient & Family Support (1:1)
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and presence to hospice patients and their loved ones.
• Engage in non-clinical activities such as conversation, reading, music, sitting vigil or providing a quiet presence.
Hospice House Support
• Serve as a greeter at the hospice house by welcoming visitors and families
• Assist patients, families, and visitors by navigating through the Hospice House while providing a calm, supportive, and welcoming presence.
