This opportunity is available at Maine Medical Center Portland and Biddeford. Volunteers serve patients age 70+. The volunteer will serve as a daily visitor helping with orientation, communication and social support; provide companionship during meals; provide therapeutic activities; encourage patients to do simple exercises or walk; promote relaxation and good sleep environment; provide adaptive equipment. Training will be provided.
