Volunteer Maine is seeking energetic and dependable volunteers to assist with event set-up and day-of support for the Governor’s Awards for Service and Volunteerism at Camp Chamberlain in Augusta, Maine on May 9th, 2026.
This short-term opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on event support and being part of a collaborative team.
Time Commitment
- Availability the day of the conference between 11:30am and 4pm
- Shifts may range from 2 – 4.5 hours
Responsibilities May Include
- Event set-up (registration tables, signage, materials, event preparation)
- Assisting with registration and check-in
- Directing attendees
- Supporting staff and presenters
- Helping with breakdown and clean-up
Qualifications
- Ability to transport yourself to Camp Chamberlain in Augusta, Maine
- Ability to stand and move throughout the event
- Comfortable interacting with attendees and providing assistance
- Reliable and punctual
